Still a bit new to motorcycle repair. The kickstarer i currently have in my 1974 honda CB360 tip broke off. The part you connect the kickstart leg to the shaft. I bought a used one on ebay and will be installing it this weekend. Is there anything i should know when replacing it? any precautions i should take? I do have a clymer book that ill go by but any experience yall have with them would help. Thank you.

I'm assuming you are buying a replacement CB360 kickstarter arm assmbly and not the shaft that goes through the engine cases. It is a pretty straightforward installation, just line up the splines, push the arm onto the shaft, and tighten the retaining bolt. There is really only one way that the arm goes onto the shaft, any further and you will see that there is an interference.
