Hi y'all,

I've been doing research about which coil to buy to replace the stock one on my 1974 CL200, because the insulation on the wire between the coil and spark plug cap has broken.

When measuring the resistance on the existing coil, the meter reads 4.7 ohms.

When reading the manual, I can't find the resistance of the coil listed anywhere.

When reading the forums, (links below,) I can't find a direct answer, only the indirect references to the Accel 140403S and "not to use less than a 3 ohm coil."

Can anyone tell me the resistance?
Which new coil is closest to the stock coil?
