I am new to the Honda Twins community and I am not very mechanically inclined. What is the difference between the various 'K' editions for the 1974 CB450s and how do I tell what 'K' model I have?

Old Honda's didn't go by production year. They built a model until they ran out of parts or decided it wasn't selling well enough. I believe the year is the manufactured date. So you could have a 71 K5 or a 72 K5, same bike. On the plate it will have the specs. "CB 450 K5xxxxx". The first number after the "K" is the one your looking for.

Yours is probably a K7. See if your VIN starts CB450-7XXXXXXX
