Unless you see light through it, don't worry about it.

Fairly certain that in the first picture, just under the second fin, centrally, there's a hole where light is coming through...
Probably could be welded...that could turn messy and without guarantee (hard to determine the impurities in the aluminum that would need to be "boiled" out when welded, making it a bit tricky and uncertain to fix it).
I suggest buying a "new" one (someone may have one for sale here). New rings and hone the cylinders. Probably your easiest fix.

You could clean it really well in there and apply a layer of JB Weld over the gouges on the inside to seal the hole. Or drill the spot, tap it for 1/8 inch pipe thread and insert a 1/8' inverted pipe plug. If 1/8 pipe is too big you could tap it to 10/32 thread and screw in an allen head set screw, covered with sealant.

Good idea, to add: drill and tap for the smallest size screw and JB weld the screw in. Grind the back side flush. Then check all of the cam chain guides and make sure the chain is properly adjusted.
