Saw an old 1973 XR75 Honda. It runs but at full throttle if started. That can be fixed but I don't know anything about these old dirt bikes but it looks fun.

I'm not sure of the value for this bike, are they collectible?

The owner is asking less than what I see on eBay but still a few hundred dollars. It runs but in the best shape.

Collectable depends on the condition, and who's collecting them..... If it's worth what is being asked to you, buy it if you want it......they are surprisingly fun......JMHO.......

I would'nt give over a couple to three hundred for one but that's your call. Like Steve said it all depends on condition. If it looks nice and doesn't smoke on start-up or while running then go for it! Be warned though. After indulging in several beers then jumping aboard for wheelie-time in the yard might not be the best idea.... While it's fun, you don't really feel those aches in the tailbone or elsewhere until the next day.. :lol:
