I searched some but could not find a discussion about this specific issue. Attached picss show forks from a 72 CB350K4, in particular the metal dust boots. The metal dust boot is attached to the lower fork leg. (Above it is the tank-colored metal Lower fork cover, and above that is the tank-colored metal headlight bracket/upper fork cover.
I need to remove the metal dust boots (to get at the fork seals) but haven't found a way yet. Recent mistake with fork stud has made me cautious. Tried a flat blade in the slots in the pics, but they don't budge. Has anyone done this b4, or can anyone suggest a method to remove them. Thanks
