This guy followed me home. Thinking of doing a cafe racer because a lot of the original paint and covers are a little rough. Gonna see how it goes.

Intake screw was stuck. Broke off in the hole. It already ate two drill bits.

Top end broken down for cleaning. Waiting on the spanner tool to do the bottom end.

It’s the castle style socket for the oil filter.

Ahhh - Yes. Lot's of people just modify a regular socket by cutting notches in one.

Frame and swing arm ground and ready for primer and paint. Got my top end bead blasted while I try to remove the gaskets. Also ready to split the case! Fun, fun, fun!

I used an angle grinder and steel wire brush.

Ground and stripped all the parts to bare metal. Removed all the gaskets off the top end. About to split the case in a bit. Hoping to primer the frame and all the body parts starting tomorrow.

The whole motor! Clean then reassemble. Lots of sloppy adhesive application that I need to clean up.
