I have a OEM set on my bike but the spring is not dampened very well...
Hit a bump and the rear end bounces a few extra times.
Not a good attribute for a bike I'd like to start ride in the corners and having fun.

Question:

1.) Can these shocks be re-built?

2.) Are there NOS parts, re-production or good aftermarket parts someone could suggest?

3.) Since my shocks originally had black under the spring, could I use a CB750 reproduction replacement?

"This is a brand new after market set of shocks for a Honda CB 450"

That tells you they aren't NOS !

I can't answer on the interchange part .

I think others have bought these shocks as well but, yes, I bought a set and they work well as a stock replacement. Like the OEM shocks, they have only spring preload adjustment but, unlike the OEM shock, they have some damping.

They are not a race shock and do not have the OEM stick at the bottom of the spring preload collar but for an original looking bike they look and work well. They seem to be getting more expensive though. I bought mine last year and they were $99.
