  2. 1975 CB200T Carbs Running Rich

    Fuel Supply and Carburation
I have a 1975 CB200T that I recently purchased. I was having a hard time getting the bike started, so I replaced the sparkplugs, sparkplug caps, and wires. Bike started right up and ran great for a couple of rides. I went out to start it up a couple of days later and no spark. I took the plugs I...
  3. 1972 CB350 Carbs –*To tune or not to tune?

    Fuel Supply and Carburation
I got this 1972 Honda CB350 back in May as my first non-dirtbike bike, and as a way to teach myself more about the mechanics of a motorcycle. I'm having a heck of a time trying to find a straight forward answer so I'll try here. My right carb gasket is most likely the culprit of a slow gas leak...
  4. CB200 Throttle Cable Lengths

    Fuel Supply and Carburation
Hi all, I've been having a problem with my idle speed, but I believe I have narrowed it down to my throttle cables. My left carb does not fully close with throttle, right carb works proper. I disassembled the throttle cable and discovered that the left cable, after the splitter, is too short...
  5. How does gasoline leak into the engine when the petcock is left on?

    Fuel Supply and Carburation
I own a '72 CB450 and I have made the classic mistake of leaving the petcock on. My oil is now overrun with gasoline and I am scratching my head. I never saw any gas overflow through from the float bowl overflow tube, so how did it get into the engine? ++Greg
  6. Rusty Riders for CB/CL/CJ 360 Carb kits

    Vendor Links
I priced shopped for a while for an inexpensive carb kit for my '75 Cb360 and found Rusty Riders by accident. The kit was decent and half the price of a K&L (including the shipping, I paid ~$11 per carb, ~$24 total). They have other parts on the site too though it's not overly comprehensive...
  7. CB200 Plastic Carb Floats?

    Fuel Supply and Carburation
Hello, First post to Honda! My brother-in-law and I are each working on 1974 Honda CB200s. We noticed that our carburetor floats have fine cracks. Does anyone manufacture synthetic/plastic floats for the CB200? A family member told us that the ethanol gas wreaks havoc on the brass...
