    Wheel size question for CA77's

So I am thinking about purchasing a 1966 CA77 dream, since I cannot afford a CL77 haha. I just always hated the 16" wheel size and thought there might be more clearance (maybe not) to go to 2x 18" under those gaudy fenders . Is this possible?

The issues that come to mind are that wide-a** hub and speedo changes. I appreciate any thoughts and advice. Thanks!

    Theoretically, a 5.00 x 16, a 4.50 x 17, and a 4.00 x 18 wheel and tire all have the same diameter and circumference....(Do the Math!)....
So NO speedo ratio change if you choose the correct replacement tire sizing.......
There WILL be a change in contact patch to roadway area however.........
