    CA77 tires

It's time to think about new tires on my '65 CA77. I see these white walls from Thailand on eBay that are 'export grade'. Anybody have experience with those?

I went with the shinkos available in that size when I had mine. I use shinko a lot because they are a great bang for your buck. They are not vintage correct by any means, if that's what you're going for.

And plenty of projects I'll never get to.

I'm talking about these Eddie Moto tires everybody in SE Asia seem to carry. Has anybody trusted them here? Kinda holding out for Dunlop K70s, hope I can find 3.25x16 white walls.

The only 3:25/16 white walls I have seen are the Firestone copies, in only the ribbed pattern. That pattern is good for the front wheel but not great for the rear, especially in dirt roads. Pricey too. My buddy has them on his ca160.

The off brand tires from Asia may not have a DOT approval so may not pass your state inspection. My concern would be what speed they are rated for.

You can check out treatland.tv- they have lots of tires.
