    Installing fresh plug boots?

Hey my plug boots on my CB500T are sloppy. I ordered new ones, I'm wondering how you correctly put fresh boots on. Do I just cut the plug wire and work the boot on?

    Thanks

That is pretty much it. I think you twist them on they have a little pointy bit that goes into the wire.

Yes, remove the old ones and cut about 1/2" off the wire end to get a fresh section, then screw the new cap onto the wire - the threaded point inside will screw into the stranded wire inside and make a fresh new connection
