    buying salvage yard master cylinder not a good idea

    bought one for my 82 450 night hawk, it was as bad as the one I had, only going to buy new manufactured reproductions from now on.

    Yeah, some stuff from a salvage yard has been sitting at least as long or longer than your own stuff and when it comes to master cylinders, the inactivity causes condensation and corrosion inside. Sorry you had to find out the hard way
