Thank you for a REAL manual.

    1979 CM400T (resting)
1980 CM400T (just picked up in pieces)
1981 CM400T (in surgery receiving transplant)
    1982 CM450 (donor engine for 81)

    1985 VT1100C (rider)

Past rides: Vincents, Triumph, BSA's, Suzuki's, Twingle, Corgy, others.

Remember, today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.
My chest fell, but, fortunately, my belt caught it.
I don't know everything, nor, have I met the one who does.

Was looking at my sharing account for this manual. Amazed to see it has been downloaded over 2000 times. Glad it was useful.

Thank You, you have saved me, I was going to buy a Clymer Manual for it.
I am glad I didn't get it (heard bad things about them).
    Again,
    Thank you

Brother, you rock AND roll! What a find! I'm in the process of resurrecting a '79 CB400T, waking it up just long enough to put it under the knife this winter (sorry purists, I can't leave em alone)! This manual is just what the mad doctor ordered! THANKS!

Is there any possibility that the electrical schematics could be scanned and posted in higher resolution?

Regardless, thank you for providing this very much needed info.

This is interesting. Googling, it looks like there are multiple versions of the Clymer's manual. I have a 1978 printing (it says rev 2) of a CB400 specific manual that does not cover the 450's. It is orange with a photo of an orange Hawk II (what I have) at speed. We have had this manual since my family bought the bike back in the 80's. Presumably the original owner bought the manual shortly after they bought the bike.

We always thought it was a pretty good manual. But then it is tough to beat the factory manual, no?!

    Again, thanks for sharing.
