More pics from mag
I was told years ago that when originally sold here in the UK the CB450 was known as the Honda Dragon--Well I've now found an old advert to confirm this .I'm sure Ray,Ronnie,Nigel and all us other 450 members will enjoy the following pages. They are from Motor Cycle magazine 17th March 1966 and I think this is the best old 450 stuff I've found for a long time.ENJOY
P.S. Theres a number pate on one-Have you got it Ray??Regards Chris.
last pic.Sorry you might have to put them all in an order to read them.Give me a spanner any day Regards Chris.
Thanks Chris this is excellent.
I cant help feeling the arrogance of the writer when talking about the Honda range of bikes, as though they were not really competition for the British bike industry, I wonder if he remenbers this with clear hindsight?

I'll post a few more pages from this mag which I've found very interesting.Judging by the number of Honda adds theres no wonder the British bikes declined so fast and as for the add in Japanese writing looks as though the marketing ideas made people look as well. This was just the start of the demise only 4 out of all the bikes for sale on the back page Hondas.
Just to give an idea on prices in 1966 I was on just £7.50 per week. an average pay for a recent school leaver.
