    Unhappy Replaced the tachometer oil seal now bike barely runs

    Hi to all,I have a 74 CB360G with 4200 miles on it.i noticed a oil leak from the tach cable to the engine.I took the points and spark advice off pulled the value cover replaced the tach seal put everything back together.i set the values the points and timing tried to start it.It started but only runs on idle i try to give it more gas but it stalls out and back fire so i pulled the carbs rebuilt them put back on no change!so i re checked the value settings points & timing all check out fine.it ran great before i took the value cover off.i don't know what to do or what went wrong help please.Mike

    You might have put the advance mech on backwards that would make your points work opposite, causing backfire.
    Check any wiring connection that could have been bumped
