    Gas milage

Finally got my cb 175 72 carbs right YEAH!!! Filled the tank and rode 93 miles before reserve. Just curious if anyone knows what the mpg should be? Also about how much is in the reserve? Most of my riding is on back roads and low key. Not much for getting on the highways.

    Thanks

Check the FSM for your model - here's a link to one I found online, looks like yours might be 2.6 gallons with about .66 gallon reserve

    Anything up to 80mpg.

I know that when I traded my CB175 in against a CB250 back in the day I was shocked at how much more often I had to fill the 250 compared with the 175, both bikes ridden at similar speeds, ie flat out on the 175.

EDIT Actually, I can do better than that, just found a receipt in my jacket. Topped up the CL175 yesterday, took 4.7 litres to brim the tank, 67 miles elapsed since tank last brimmed. So that's around 65 mpg.
