    chopping spark plugs

I posted this before and didn't get any feedback. May have posted in wrong place. Left plug is dry soot. I assume it fouling out. when first starting it Idles and runs good for about 15m then it won't idle properly. Do i need to turn air screw out to make richer? Cb 175 1972
    Thanks

Well, IF it's sooting up, you'll want to make it LEANER, not richer.......

so help me here. screwing the air screw in makes it leaner? Also needle clip lower makes leaner also. right now both clips in the middle are 3rd from bottom.
    thanks

Yes to the air mix screw, not sure about the needle.

Air screw is for idle. Dropping the needle(raising the clip) will lean your mid range.
