I've been to Savannah and I had never felt that kind of heat before. It was extremely hot and I quickly learned that you have to move slow to survive a day. That's what I remember the most and the aligator we just had to taste

You should visit west central Florida then Chris... it's 93° F in the shade here right now, and it was 99° F yesterday in the nearest town just north of me. I'm so very glad my garage is air conditioned...

Yeah, maybe for visiting... but when you live here and it reaches the end of April, you know the next 5 months will be spent more indoors than outdoors

So never go to Florida during the summer?

I think I'd love it for a month. I mean I've been freezing for 6-7 months when summer comes but I guess it's easier as a tourist when you don't have to do anything except hanging at the beach or the pool. Drinking, eating..

Just tapped this one.. got it from a rep...
My wife described it as.."OMG, chocolate cake AND beer.. best invention EVER.!!"
It IS good, a defintate desert beer..
waiting for that Pilsner to finish... want it to be "crushable."

Well here's the results from the last batch, still a little young on the carbonation but that will get better as it gets head space. Light note of molasses on the breath in and palatable on the end of the swill almost like I wanted it there. I love oatmeal stouts, such wonderful mouth feel like there is an added layer that is detectable along with the already dence flavorful beer. It's been 2 months since I have had a home brew, tomorrow or the coming week will be the next once I do a bunch of research.

FWIW Stouts and Porters are my favorites I dont care what the season and will always ask for them at breweries or pubs.

Yes that is another hobby behind it... lol
