    WTB starter clutch housing

Hi all, I’m looking for just the housing for the starter clutch in good usable condition. Mine looks like the pin was jammed into its hole very hard at one point and deformed the housing. It doesnt seem to grip the crank when I use the electric start and I just get a “whirrrr.”

Don’t need the flywheel or sprocket.

    Thanks!

You sure the idler gear isn't damaged? If the surface is worn then the rollers won't grab it

That’s a good point. I’ll have a look when I have the motor apart this winter. I guess the deformation my clutch housing has (slight outward swelling at the spring seat) probably shouldn’t matter if the the spring is doing its job and pushing the roller onto the gear.
