    project 'Foxy Lady' CB250 scrambler build

    hi all, im a little way into this build now, here is a list of whats been done so far,

    frame cut and hoop welded on,
    longer rear shocks,
    scrambler bars,
    forks refurbed,
    nobblys fitted,
    new seat ready to install
    engine polished/painted/headgasket replaced

    ah thanks, ive got the pipe now to fabricate the rest of the exhaust system, ive never tried to make a whole system from scratch before so its going to be a learning experience

    What diameter tubing will you be using? I understand just over an inch OD is close to stock ID.

    38mm tube. About 1.5 inch

    engine refurbed now

    so ive had the engine apart, changed the head gasket as it was leaking, replaced the head bolts, cleaned and polishes the covers, and degreased, and painted the engine with VHT enamel paint. I think its looking really smart now.

    engine back in the bike

    so i got the engine back in tonight, ive also cleaned up and sprayed all the engine mounts, and cleard the top level engine fins back to ally with a power file to give the engine some added flash.

    next job, the seat

    Made some decent headway on the seat today. Got the rear mount all sorted. Just need to work on some brackets for the front mount now.
