Hey guys, a buddy of mine has a well used '83 ATC200 that he is trying to get working properly. He noticed he had an oil leak and found that it was coming from the head, just above where the spark plug is. There seems to be a metal plug there that is leaking oil. Just wondering what this plug is there for and how best to go about sealing it up. He just uses it to bomb around on so it doesn't need to be perfect, he just wants to stop it from leaking.
Here is a pic of the plug. In the pic the spark plug is removed but I have an arrow showing where it would be for reference purposes. Is that plug from the factory when they machined the head for the oil passages? Previous owners work?
Any help would be appreciated.
