Hi,
Here are a few pictures of a CB350 taken during a recent trip to Charlotte, Vermont. My friends tell me that the bike was parked in the middle of the field by their neighbor about 25 years ago with a huge stuffed teddy bear sitting on top. The teddy bear is long gone but the bike is still standing (although propped with a iron bar).

That's intriguing. I'm guessing since the Teddy Bear was perched there, it's some sort of artwork? What's with the chain attached to the front of the bike? I guess they want to make sure it stays there.

Interesting photos. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. Here are some more. It looks so lonely.

Any idea what road that is on? I would like to see it from satellite images.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

The bike is on Ferry road, Charlotte, Vermont. Going west on Ferry road, pass Lake road and the bike is about a 1/3 of a mile on the right 50 yards away before a double-wide. From what I understand, the owner (now deceased of old age) was quite a character (former professional wrestler and boxer) and was known to have knocked out a horse with his bear fists. I can't remember his name but I can inquire if needed. I don't know if anyone died on the bike but apparently, one day, he just rode the poor thing into the middle of the field, shoved a teddy bear on top and left it there to rot. I'm inclined to think that it was more an attempt at an "art" thing than anything else... What can I say? Too many blows to the head?

On another subject, I have a '71 CB 450 which I'm (very) slowly restoring but the bike is missing a title. I'm in PA and it's impossible to get a new title made for it. Can anyone suggest something?
Thanks in advance.

jf

P.S.: @drones76. Hey, this is the exact same bike! When did you take the pictures?

Your description puts it somewhere in here:

Too bad the resolution isn't good enough in this area to pick out a bike. And there is no street view.

Did I write West? I meant East... So it's on the other side of the road and further down pass lake road. It says 840 in front of the double-wide. The bike is in the field just next to the double-wide. It is next to a small pond and is hardly visible. I think you have a better resolution with Bing maps.
Did you take the pictures of the bike in the winter?

Ah yes, that makes a difference! So, I'm guessing it's in this field:

I didn't take the pictures, I just like finding stuff on google maps! I'm sure I'd be able to see it from google earth - but I'll have to wait to get home since I don't have that program here.

Bing is hit and miss. Sometimes better and sometimes worse than google maps.
